7th Adults Forbidden Festival 2018

The 7th edition of Adults Forbidden International festival for Children and Adults audiences will be held in smolyan and 16 more towns and villages in the region between 1 and 5 October 2018. Over 40 performances of artists from Bulgaria, Sweden, Israel on 30 stages, and one new Bulgarian feature film for kids will be presented.

The festival in the city and municipality of Smolyan has been organized by Pro Rodopi Foundation and Smolyan Minicipality with the support by America for Bulgaria Foundation, Art in Movement Programme, Art Office Foundation, The Embassy of Israel Sofia, Konstnärsnämnden Sweden, Konaka Rest House. Partners are Hristo Botev-1871 Community Centre, Kiril Madzharov-1866 Community Centre. Media partners are Hristo Botev Programme by Bulgarian National Radio, Radio1 Smolyan. The festival has been supported by Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria.

Part of the festival programme has been supported by Plovdiv – European Capital of Culture 2019 through the project ‘Theatre in the Community Centres and Community Centres in the Theatre’.

Main partner in the work with schools and kindergartens in the city and region is The Regional Administration of Education Smolyan.

The programme in Smolyan region has been held under the paronage of Regional Governer and has been organized the participation by Chepelare Municipality, Devin Municipality, Nedelino Municipality, Rudozem Municipality, Mayor of Smilyan, Mayor of Startsevo, Mayor of Shiroka Luka, Mayor of Srednogortzi, Mayor of Turun. Media partners are Hristo Botev Programme by Bulgarian National Radio, Radio1 Smolyan.
