Petar Todorov directed 'Circus Europa' - a big international co-

The Artistic director of PRAC Petar Todorov was invited to direct the big international co-production ‘Circus Europa’, funded by ‘Culture 2007-2013’ programme of EC through the project ‘The Smiles of Dyonissius’.

The leading organization in the project was Smolyan Drama Theatre from Bulgaria. The other three participants were National Theatre from Bitola/Macedonia, Malko Teatro from Budapest/Hungary and Theatre Giljotin from Stockholm/Sweden. The production included more that 25 actors from the participating countries. The concept of the project included presentations of the image of each country about another one, e.g. Bulgaria commented Sweden, Sweden-Macedonia, Macedonia-Hungary, Hungary-Bulgaria.

The opening of ‘Circus Europa’ was on 19 and 20 June 2008 in Smolyan/Bulgaria. Following tour included very successful performances in Bitola/Macedonia on 23 June, in Budapest/Hungary on 26th June and in Stockholm/Sweden on 30 June and 1 July.
