‘Garbage for Plums’ in Israel

The internationally acclaimed production by Petar Todorov and Desislava Mincheva ‘Garbage for Plums’ has been invited for 6 shows at Street C.A.T Bat Yam Festival in Bat-Yam near Tel Aviv.

The show will be performed outdoor at the location of 4 Hamasger Str at industrial area of Bat-Yam twice every day at 19.30h and 21h on 23, 24 and 25th August.

The 15th annual Bat Yam International Street Theater Festival will take place this year August 23-25 along the promenade in Bat-Yam. The festival, which features outdoor theater shows and activities, attracts over 150,000 visitors and international performers. Performances range from theater, dance, and music, originating in Israel, Bulgaria, the UK, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany, Russia and more.

So far the production has been presented with over 55 performances in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Germany, Turkey.

‘Garbage for Plums’ has been created as part of ‘Thalassa of Myths’ project with the financial support of Culture programme of Education and Culture GD of the European Union. ‘Thalassa of Myths’ is a project by Centre of Higher Education in Theatre Studies (Greece), Teatro Inverso (Italy), Centrul European de Educatie si Cultura “Artemis” (Romania) and Pro Rodopi Foundation (Bulgaria).

The production has been supported by Die Kulturabteilung der Stadt Wien MA7.
