The show ‘Chick with a Trick’ is a very funny story for kids and parents which pleeds for tollerance toward differences. ‘Its nothing wrong to be different if you don’t make harm to the others’ - says the main character in the play – the cute and little bit weird hen Koki.

Based on the absurd contemporary fairytales of Margarit Minkov, it’s a fun-filled family show with puppets, dance and theatre. It tells a story about a hen who lays a bonbon instead of an egg and we follow her hilarious misadventures as she tries to sort out this problem. In the end, inspired by a sunny day and the children around, she convinces herself that there is nothing wrong in doing something unusual and different if it brings joy to others.

Chick with a Trick is the winner of numerous awards and has had more than 170 performances in the Bulgaria, Norway, Slovenia, Romania, Albania, Pakistan, Iceland, Croatia, Slovakia, The Netherlands, Germany, Turkey and the US.
Bulgaria’s Pro Rodopi Art Centre (PRAC) is an independent cultural centre – a crossroad of ideas from North, West and South-East Europe.
