“Fillyjonk Who Believed in Disasters: 20 Years Later” is a visual
physical performance with puppets which can be watched by the whole
family. It is a continuation of the well-appreciated in Bulgaria and
abroad production by Bourgas State Puppet Theatre “Fillyjonk Who
Believed in Disasters”, created by the same artistic team in 2018.

Twenty years after a tornado took away Fillyjonk’s house, the two
characters of the known Tove Jansson’s story are again in the same
situation, but with reversed roles. Gaphsa is the one who has
accumulated fears all her life and they weigh on her like a burden, and
Fillyjonk now lives peacefully and happily. Now it’s her turn to help
her only neighbour and friend, with whom they live alone on the remote
desert north coast.
